Community News - Engheta awarded SPIE Gold Medal

A belated congratulations to Prof. Nader Engheta (University of Pennsylvannia, USA), who has received the 2015 Gold Medal from SPIE, the international society for optics and photonics. The Gold Medal is the highest award of the Society, and was awarded at the start of March for Prof. Engheta's "transformative and groundbreaking contributions to optical engineering of metamaterials and nanoscale plasmonics, metamaterial-based optical nano circuits, and biologically-inspired optical imaging."
