Community News - metamaterial-based protection from lasers for pilots

Lamda Guard have announced a collaboration with Airbus to allow them to test their nano-composite metamaterial thin film filter technology. They claim that this technology allows laser light of multiple colours to be blocked, whilst retaining optical transparency otherwise, making it ideal for protection against laser attacks for pilots, without interfering with their visibility.
