Community News - Non-resonant hyperlens

A new metamaterial hyperlens, operating in the visible range and avoiding resonance-based limitations, has been reported in Scientific Reports. Hyperlenses offer the potential for sub-wavelength imaging, but have been difficult to realise in practice. The potential value of the new design, such as for early detection of cancer, has been discussed in the Engineer.
