Community News - Biological sensing with metamaterials
An interesting short article on biological sensing using metamaterials was recently published on the SPIE website. Although concentrating on the work done at the lab of the author, it describes the applications and challenges succinctly. Such sensors are usually optical or infra-red, requiring optical metamaterials. Other research examines THz or higher mm-wave equivalent sensing.
